Sec. 6-2. Personal liability of enforcement personnel.
City officers or employees who are charged with the enforcement of this chapter and who act in good faith and without malice in the discharge of their duties, shall not be liable personally and are hereby relieved from all personal liability for any damage that may accrue to persons or property as a result of any act required or by reason of any act or omission in the discharge of their duties. Any suit brought against any of such officers or employees because of act or omission performed in the enforcement of any provision of this chapter, shall be defended by the legal department of the city until termination of the proceedings.
