Transfer Station ‘After Hours’ Extended This Week
Due to the storms over the weekend, the Transfer Station will extend its "After Hours" yard waste and brush disposal service for Norfolk residents by an extra hour on Monday and Thursday this week, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Please read and follow the signs on site. Yard waste and brush must be separated—no trash, no lumber, and all bags must be emptied.

Sign Up For ‘Battle of the Badges’ Blood Drive
The Norfolk Police and Fire Divisions are set to battle it out again to help the American Red Cross replenish its blood supply. On Friday, June 14, the ‘Battle of the Badges’ blood drive will determine which division can bring in the most donations.
Everyone is encouraged to participate, as the Red Cross aims to avoid the usual summer dip in donations.

Temporary Closure of 1st Street
Beginning Tuesday, May 28 North 1st Street will be closed from Norfolk Avenue to Prospect Avenue to repair damage caused by a vehicle accident.
