New Outdoor Warning Sirens
Beginning Tuesday, September 23, Blue Valley Public Safety/Federal Signal will be replacing outdoor warning sirens at the following locations: 301 Elm Avenue, 2601 Westside Plaza, and West Benjamin & Eldorado Avenue.
The work will include replacing the poles, which will require large equipment and additional personnel on site. Completion is expected within a week, weather permitting.

Transfer Station Early Closures Scheduled for Maintenance
The City of Norfolk Transfer Station will close at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, and Thursday, September 11, to allow for scheduled maintenance and repairs.
No trash will be accepted after 4:00 p.m. on these dates. The yard waste and brush disposal areas will remain open during their normal operating hours.
