Concrete Repair Work Continues
Beginning Wednesday, July 17, a concrete repair project is set to start. Work is scheduled to begin on the outside lanes of Benjamin Avenue, east of 1st Street, moving east to the East Benjamin Avenue bridge.

Concrete Repairs Begin Monday on Madison Avenue Sidewalk
Beginning Monday, July 15, concrete repair work will take place on the south side of Madison Avenue, on the sidewalk from 1st to 3rd Street.
Residents are asked to be aware of crews in the area. The work is expected to last two weeks. If you have any questions, please contact Engineering at 402-844-2020.
Mosquito Fogging to Begin
The City of Norfolk will conduct mosquito fogging in parks and some residential areas of Norfolk over the next couple of days, weather permitting.
Mosquito fogging is generally conducted in the evening hours from 8:30 to 11:00, weather permitting. While a slight breeze is necessary, wind conditions should be less than 10 miles per hour for the best fogging results.

Eastern Height Booster Station Power Issue Causes Lower Water Pressure
A power issue has affected the Eastern Height Booster Station, causing lower than normal water pressure in this neighborhood. The lower pressure will affect lawn sprinkler operation.

Street Striping to Take Place During Evening Hours
Striping work is set to take place during the overnight hours beginning at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9. Iowa Plains Signing is conducting the striping which will conclude at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday July 10.
