During this time of the Covid-19 issues and our continued efforts to contain the spread of the virus, the Norfolk Fire Division will continue to issue burn permits so that we can help the farming community as well as any other spring cleanup efforts in our rural areas while we have favorable moisture conditions.

We ask that if you wish to obtain a burn permit please come to the main fire station only located at 7th and Koenigstein Avenue where it may be issued.

As a reminder the only items which may be burned are natural vegetation native to the property where it is to be burned. Sawn or painted lumber, tires or other non-natural items may not be burned and will need to be disposed of in a different manner.
