The Norfolk Morning and Noon Optimist clubs recognized Firefighter/Paramedic Max Hesman of the Norfolk Fire Division at Monday’s city council meeting. Optimist international highlights those who inspire respect for the law. “Max has shown all of the qualities that we can ask for at Norfolk Fire. Whether it be lending a hand getting things done around the station, dedicating hours off-duty to set up for shift trainings, having a semitrailer donated to allow for never done before training, and most importantly being passionate about our career. Max has grown to an outstanding firefighter/paramedic and leader,” said Lieutenant Brock Soderberg.
