Beginning Thursday, November 7, the City of Norfolk will initiate lane closures to address a water main break affecting several streets in the area. These temporary closures are necessary to allow crews to complete repairs safely and efficiently.

• West Grove Avenue will be closed at 1st Street, with access available only from the west side.
• Minnelusa Avenue will be closed at 1st Street; access will be available from the alley to the east or via the Memorial Field Parking Lot.
• Both southbound and northbound traffic on 1st Street will be reduced to single lanes.

Work is anticipated to continue through Tuesday, November 12, weather permitting. The City of Norfolk appreciates the public's patience and cooperation during this essential repair process.
