The public is invited to an open house to provide input on a new Multimodal Transportation Action Plan (MTAP) on Tuesday, July 30. The City of Norfolk is working with Toole Design and Olsson Associates to create a vision to make the transportation system safer and more comfortable for all modes of travel and to eliminate transportation-related deaths and serious injuries.

The MTAP will work to integrate safe and comfortable walking, cycling, and other non-motorized access into the transportation safety plan. As we begin our work, we want to ensure the plan reflects the community's concerns and needs. A community survey is one way we are gathering feedback.

The open house will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Norfolk Public Library (meeting room A). If you have any questions, please contact Engineering at 402-844-2020.
