The City of Norfolk Engineering Division has been inspecting City sidewalks for ADA compliance. Spray paint markings have been made showing areas of deficiency.

The Engineering Division will revisit the marked areas in late spring 2022 at which time letters will be sent to property owners to correct any deficiencies according to City Code, Section 22. Residents aren’t expected or required to make any improvements this winter.
