The City of Norfolk will be implementing temporary lane closures on Dover Drive in the 2900 block beginning Monday afternoon to allow for necessary street patching work.

During the first phase of construction:

• The south (eastbound) lanes will be closed.
• Traffic will be one-way westbound in the north lane to maintain safe visibility on the hill.

Once work on the south lanes is complete, the traffic pattern will be reversed:

• The north (westbound) lanes will close, and the south lanes will reopen for eastbound one-way traffic.

A signed detour will direct drivers along Hackberry and Blackberry Streets, and North 30th Street is also recommended as an alternate route.
