Emergency Manager Visits fire, police and sheriff offices

Over the past 6 months, Emergency Manager Bobbi Risor, has visited nearly every fire department, police department, and sheriff's office.  She has attended all but one of the 3 county region's city or village council meeting and attends one county commissioners/supervisors meeting a month.  She is introducing herself and what emergency management can do for the first responders and communities in the the region.

Below she visits with Clearwater Village Board and Elgin Fire Department members.

 

Annual Severe Storm Spotter Training set for March 3rd

Even though it doesn’t feel like it, the severe weather season will be here before we know it. A representative from the National Weather Service (NWS) – Valley, NE will be making their annual visit on Tuesday, March 3, at 7 p.m. at the Lifelong Learning Center (801 E. Region 11 Board meets to discuss Mini Grants
