Johnson Park Connector Trail

Project Description:

The main reason for this project is to provide pedestrian access along the North Fork of the Elkhorn River tying back to Johnson Park at the North Fork. The Riverfront Trail project ends approximately 80' south of the railroad tracks on the west side of First Street. On the east side of First Street the Riverfront Trail continues through Johnson Park and ultimately ties into the trail running under the newly constructed Norfolk Avenue Bridge.

This project consists of a 10' wide trail that runs adjacent to the river. During the July 16, 2018 City Council Meeting, council approved a construction contract with TR Harris Construction in the amount of $134,974.00 for the construction of the Johnson Park Connector Trail project.
