Anna Allen provides an update on 1st Street after opening to traffic.

Starting on Friday, November 17, the intersection of 7th Street and Michigan Avenue will be closed to traffic due to roadway reconstruction and storm drain work at the intersection.

Anna Allen gives an update on Benjamin Avenue with concrete pours scheduled in the coming days.

The public is invited to a project update meeting highlighting Benjamin Avenue, 1st Street construction, and Michigan Avenue work Wednesday, October 25 at the Norfolk City Council Chambers (309 North 5th Street) from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Representatives from the project contractors will be on hand to share current progress and answer questions.

Starting on Thursday, October 19, 8th Street from Omaha Avenue to Michigan Avenue and Michigan Avenue from the west side of 7th Street to Wood Street will be open to traffic.
