The Norfolk Fire Division will be conducting a training exercise at Skyview Lake on Thursday, February 6, weather permitting, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

During the training, personnel will be in the water, and drones equipped with spotlights will be flying around the lake. This exercise is designed to enhance emergency response capabilities and ensure the safety of our community.

At the conclusion of the training, barricades will be placed around a hole in the ice. We kindly ask the public not to remove or move these barricades, as they are there for safety purposes.

Residents and visitors to the area are advised that this is a planned exercise, and there is no cause for alarm. We appreciate the community’s cooperation and understanding as we work to improve emergency response readiness.
