The City of Norfolk invites you to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of River Fork Villas II, a new Low Income Housing Tax Credit community in southeast Norfolk. The event will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at 1113 Canoe Street.

“Norfolk Housing Agency is excited to unveil this new affordable housing development in your community! This community is a collaboration between Mesner Development, Progressive Builders, Midwest Housing Equity Group, Nebraska Investment Finance Authority, Nebraska Department of Economic Development, and Norfolk Housing Development Corporation,” said Rita Heinemann, Executive Director of the Norfolk Housing Agency.

This development marks an important milestone in expanding affordable housing options for the Norfolk community. The ribbon cutting will be an opportunity to showcase a positive investment in Norfolk’s future and the efforts being made to provide quality housing for all residents.
