The library catalog contains all the library's physical collection of books and other items, as well as ebooks and e-audiobooks from OverDrive.
To log in to your library account, you will need your library card number and PIN. Once logged in, you can view your current checkouts, renew items eligible for renewal, pay fines, and place holds on items that are currently checked out. If you do not have your PIN, please contact the library. **Special note: To renew items online, you must do so the day before they are due. After that time, you will have to call or visit the library to renew items.
To apply for a Digital Access Library Card click here. Anyone over age 16 who does not already have a Library Card, and who lives or works in Northeast Nebraska, can now apply for a Digital Access Library Card online. These Digital Access Library Cards will allow a person to access any of the library’s digital materials through the library’s Digital Library, including ebooks, streaming music, language lessons, research databases and more. After submitting the application, the library card number will be emailed to the applicant within 2 business days.
Applications for a regular Library Card to borrow physical materials from the library must be made in person at the library. Anyone who lives or works in Northeast Nebraska can apply for a Norfolk Public Library Card at no charge. Applicants must bring a photo ID and proof of their current residential address with them when applying. See our Library Card Policy for all the details.
