Our annual reading incentive is back! There is a challenge for every age.
- Children from birth to age 4 are challenged to read 100 books.
- Youth ages 5-12 have a reading goal of 20 hours.
- Teens and Adults can choose between a time-based challenge or a number-of-days-reading challenge.
- Click here to sign up! You can also sign up at the library.
How it works: Reach the halfway point on any challenge to earn an AquaVenture Water Park pass. Complete your challenge for a prize pack and an entry to our Grand Prize drawing. Keep reading to earn bonus tickets for the Grand Prize drawing.
The first day to turn in your challenge for a prize is June 9. The last day to turn in your reading challenge for a prize is August 2.
Programs and events kick off in June. New this year - join us for the inaugural Norfolk Library Comicon on June 16-21! Enjoy free activities and programs all week, culminating in a Celebration in Johnson Park on the 21st.
You can pick up your summer schedules, reading records, and contest forms in the library or print them out.
