AquaVenture Water Park

Pool Rules

Swimming is allowed only when a lifeguard is on duty.

No person is permitted to use the pool without first having taken a warm water shower using soap.

No person having an obvious communicable disease, skin eruption, cut, sore or lesion, eye, ear, nose or throat infection, is permitted to use any public swimming pool.

Patrons must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the slides. 

Spitting or spouting of water, blowing the nose, or any other similar activities in the swimming pool is strictly prohibited.

No running, boisterous or rough play, except supervised water sports, is permitted in the pool, or on the runways, diving boards, floats, platforms or in the dressing rooms.

Swimsuits are required for all swimmers.

Profanity and abusive language is prohibited.

All food, candy and/or drink must remain in the concession area. Plastic bottled water is permitted throughout the facility. Glass containers are prohibited.

No outside food may be brought into the facility. 

Children age 9 and under MUST be supervised by a parent or individual at least 16 years old, dressed in swimsuit attire.

Children under 6 years old and all non-swimmers must be within an arms length of the supervising adult at all times.

No personal rafts or inner tubes allowed inside AquaVenture Water Park.

Only Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices are permitted at AquaVenture. No "water wings".

All children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper. Swim diapers are sold at the concessions window.

The City of Norfolk is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items.

Any time thunder/lightning is detected, either through a detection system or manual sighting, the pool and associated decks will be cleared. Bathers may re-enter the water when the "all-clear" signal is given. Refunds/rain checks for inclement weather will not be given. 

These regulations are meant to keep swimmers and spectators safe and healthy!
