City of Norfolk Receives $15,000 Grant from Kansas City Royals Foundation
The City of Norfolk Parks and Recreation Division is thrilled to announce that it has received a generous $15,000 grant from the Kansas City Royals Foundation, the charitable arm of the Kansas City Royals Major League Baseball organization. Ice Rink Closed Due to Rain
The Johnson Park Ice Rink has been closed due to rain and the resulting impact on ice conditions, and will remain closed until 5:30 p.m. Monday, December 30. The temporary closure ensures the safety of all skaters and helps maintain the quality of the rink for future use.

Ribbon Cutting Invite
A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Tuesday, December 3 at 11 a.m. at the Norfolk Skate Park pump track.
The construction of the pump track was made possible thanks to a $114,201.82 donation from the late Lee W. DeKarske.
