The Norfolk City Council approved a contract agreement for new playground equipment at Liberty Bell Park. The agreement with KABOOM Inc. is in partnership with Integrity Marketing Group, a Dallas-based firm, and local business Premier Senior Marketing.

“We are very excited to work with Integrity and Premier to design and build a new playground for Liberty Bell Park. Their donation is very much appreciated. We look forward to working alongside these great organizations while involving the community in the process,” said Nathan Powell, Parks and Recreation Director. “Their investment into our community will have a lasting impact and help improve the quality of life for all who live and visit our great community.”

As part of the partnership, the City will contribute $8,500 with the remaining $150,000 for the project provided by Integrity Marketing Group and Premier Senior Marketing.

“At Integrity, Partnership is one of our core values — it serves as the foundation for how we not only run our business, but how we extend into the communities we serve,” shared Bryan W. Adams, Co-Founder and CEO of Integrity Marketing Group. “This new partnership with the City of Norfolk allows us to build upon another Integrity core value: Family. It is an honor to work together to provide a new and inviting playground that may serve as a gathering place of families and neighbors for generations to come.”

“Partnerships like these can accomplish great things. We’re extremely grateful for the generous contribution, and we’re excited to create something special and unique for Norfolk families and youth,” said Mayor Josh Moenning.

The City will be hosting public input meetings on the design of the new equipment this spring with construction in late July.
