August 10th Press Release

 On August 9, 2022 at 8:40 a.m., Norfolk Police were called to the Nebraska State Probation Office for a client driving there without a required car ignition interlock device in her vehicle.  Officers had contact with staff and Katherine A. Hansen, 31, of Stanton.  During this contact, officers detected alcohol coming from her and she was questioned about alcohol consumption.  She was also requested to perform field sobriety maneuvers and submit to a preliminary breath test.  Both indicated that she was  impaired to drive.  She was arrested for enhanced driving under the influence third-offense and an ignition interlock violation.  She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
