March 16th Press Release 2023

On March 16, 2023 at 4:40 a.m., Norfolk Police began an investigation into a protection order violation. An officer saw a vehicle belonging to Christopher E. Anderson, 43, of Norfolk, parked near a residence.  The residence is occupied by a female who has a protection order issued against Anderson.  Anderson is prohibited from contacting the female or being at the residence.  Anderson was not in the vehicle.  Police contacted the female who stated that she was not home and gave officers permission to search the house.  Anderson was located inside the residence and was arrested for violating the protection order.  He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.

On March 15, 2023 at 10:58 p.m., Norfolk Police were called to an apartment in the 1100 block of Keonigstein for a disturbance.  Upon arrival, officers had contact with a male who stated that he had just met Brenda K. Sixtos, 34, of Norfolk, today and invited her to the apartment.  Due to her behavior, he asked Sixtos to leave.  She became upset and was damaging the apartment.  Officers, and the male, went inside the apartment and had contact with her.  Sixtos appeared to the officers as being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.  During this time, Sixtos walked over to the male and shoved him with both of her arms, forcing him to fall backwards onto a couch. She was then restrained by officers and placed under arrest for third-degree assault.  She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
