On September 12, 2022 at 1:47 p.m., Norfolk Police were called to an apartment in the 700 block of North 1st Street to assist a Nebraska State Probation Officer.  The probation officer was conducting a search of a probationer residence and had located a glass smoking pipe in his bedroom.  The Norfolk officer tested the pipe and it was positive for methamphetamine.  The probationer, Solomon Partee, 33, of Norfolk, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.  He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
