September 19th Press Release 2022

On September 18, 2022, at 8:14 p.m., Norfolk Police were called to 2400 Pasewalk Avenue for a shoplifting.  A female had just exited the store with a cart full of unpaid merchandise.  The reporter provided a physical description of the suspect as well as a description, and license plate, of the vehicle she left in.  Responding officers located the suspect’s car and conducted a traffic stop.  The driver was identified as Sheila R. Donohoe, 38, of O’Neill. A check of her license showed that it was currently revoked.  The back seat of the vehicle was filled with stolen items from the store that totaled over $1016.00.  Donohoe was arrested for driving during revocation and shoplifting.  She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.

On September 19, 2022 at 12:47 a.m., Norfolk Police were called to the 900 block of Prospect Avenue for a suspicious person.  The caller stated that a male subject was walking around the apartment complex parking lot screaming and looking into the cars parked there.  Officers arrived and had contact with Joe A. Kleve, 62, of Norfolk. Earlier in the shift, Kleve had been issued a trespassing warning for this property after officers had been called to the area several times for disturbances caused by Kleve. Kleve was arrested for second-degree criminal trespassing.  He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
