The Communications Manager is in charge of sharing the latest City news with media partners as well as citizens in Norfolk. They send out press releases and create social media posts to the Facebook and Twitter page regarding City projects, updates, and news. They also send e-newsletters through Constant Contact.
The Communications Manager also serves as the Public Information Officer during city-wide disasters, such as the flood we experienced in March 2019. It is their duty to keep citizens and media partners informed and up-to-date with relevant information.
