The City of Norfolk would like to make all travelers aware of a partial lane closure.

On Wednesday, August 25, the northern most west bound lane on Benjamin Avenue will be closed between 12th Street and 13th Street.

“The lane closure is necessary for the Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) to install a new pole on the north side of Benjamin Avenue, which is necessary for the Benjamin Avenue street widening project.  The lane closure is scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on August 25, and NPPD plans to have everything completed in that time frame,” explained Steve Merrill with NPPD.

Travel may be slower during this time, please plan accordingly and drive safely.
