The City of Norfolk Parks and Recreation Division is working with PROS Consulting on a Parks Master Plan. Beginning this week, a citizen survey will be mailed to a limited number of households selected at random. The entire survey will be shared online for everyone in the coming weeks.

The public will have multiple opportunities to provide feedback on the Master Plan. The regularly scheduled Parks and Recreation Board meeting will NOT meet on Thursday, August 24, but instead convene Tuesday, August 29 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers for a master plan update.

A second public presentation is set for Wednesday, August 30 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Norfolk Public Library. If you have any questions, please contact the Parks and Recreation office at 402-844-2250.
