Water Main Repair

Due to a water main repair traffic is currently being affected on the southbound lanes of South 1st Street, between Indiana and Omaha Avenue.

Upcoming Transfer Station Closings

The City of Norfolk Transfer Station will close at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24 and reopen Friday, February 25 at 7:30 a.m.

The Transfer Station will also be closed all day Saturday, February 26 for maintenance and repair. It will reopen Monday, February 28 at 7:30 a.m.

Street Closure

A street closure is set for next week on Madison Avenue. Due to railroad work, Madison Avenue between 6th and 7th Street will be closed Wednesday, February 16.

New Disc Golf Baskets Coming to Skyview

Skyview Park will see some updates to its disc golf course. As part of a partnership between the Norfolk Area Visitors Bureau, Norfolk Area Community Foundation Fund, Norfolk Disc Golf Club, and the City of Norfolk 18 new baskets will be installed.
