Updated Hours for AquaVenture

Due to staffing issues, AquaVenture's hours of operation will change starting Saturday, July 24. The new hours of operation will be from 11:30am-6:00pm daily from July 24 - August 8. AquaVenture will close for the season at the end of the day on August 8. 

Street Repairs at 25th & Benjamin - UPDATED 7/16/21

Beginning Monday July 19, 2021, the intersection/roundabout of Benjamin Avenue and 25th Street will be closed for pavement restoration, which will involve complete replacement of existing surfacing.

This closure will last between 14 - 21 days, depending on weather and concrete stability. Our goal is to have this project complete before our students return to school.

Madison County Scrap Tire Collection Day

The City of Norfolk Solid Waste Division is hosting a Scrap Tire Collection Day funded by a grant from the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy.

Transfer Station Closing Early

Pasewalk Avenue Closure

Beginning Tuesday, July 6, street repairs will begin on the eastbound traffic lane of W. Pasewalk Avenue from the northeast corner of the Hwy 275 intersection to the edge of Big Red Keno’s entrance. This section will be closed to traffic traveling northeast on W. Pasewalk. Drivers can use S. 20th Street or S. 25th Street as an alternate route.

37th Street Closure Extended

Closure extended an additional week for a portion of 37th Street for the installation of storm sewer associated with the 37th Street Drainage Improvement project. This closure will occur between Omaha Avenue and Bradford Avenue with an anticipated completion date of July 2, 2021. 

Transfer Station Extends Hours to Assist with Tree Debris Clean-Up

Due to the high winds from the storm, the brush pile at the Norfolk Transfer Station has extended hours to assist local residents with clean-up.

Gates will be open from 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 24 and Friday, June 25 and from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 26.
