Relaxing of Directed Health Measures to begin May 13

The Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department (ELVPHD), in consultation with the State of Nebraska, will move to less restrictive Directed Health Measures (DHMs) on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. The new DHMs for ELVPHD apply to Burt, Cuming, Madison, and Stanton counties.

Press Conference Scheduled for May 4 to Provide an Update on COVID-19

The City of Norfolk, in cooperation with the Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department, and Faith Regional Health Services, will be holding a press conference on Monday, May 4 at 3:00 p.m. in the Norfolk City Council Chambers located at 309 N. 5th Street.

Westbound Lanes on Norfolk Ave from 2nd-3rd St. to Close for One Day

Due to the installation of water and sewer service lines, westbound traffic on Norfolk Avenue from 2nd Street to 3rd Street will be closed all day on May 4, 2020. Concrete paving will replace the removed street section after underground services are installed.

LENRD Plants 375 Trees at the City of Norfolk's Well Field

First Week of Flushing Water Mains (April 26 - May 2)

The Norfolk Water Division will begin their annual water main flushing program on April 26th, 2020. Flushing will be done during the evening and overnight hours beginning at 8:30 PM and concluding at 6:30 AM the following day. Flushing will begin Sunday evening and conclude Thursday morning.
