The Norfolk Water Division began their annual water main flushing program on April 15th, 2024. Flushing will be done during the evening and overnight hours beginning at 8:30 PM and concluding at 6:30 AM the following day. Flushing will begin Sunday evening and conclude Thursday morning. No flushing will be performed on Thursday, Friday or Saturday evenings. It is estimated that the flushing program…

The 700 block of Norfolk Avenue has been temporarily closed to ensure public safety following a building collapse.

The closure is expected to remain in effect until further notice. Motorists are advised to avoid the area until clearance is granted by the authorities.
