The Norfolk Water Division began their annual water main flushing program on April 15th, 2024. Flushing will be done during the evening and overnight hours beginning at 8:30 PM and concluding at 6:30 AM the following day. Flushing will begin Sunday evening and conclude Thursday morning. The 700 block of Norfolk Avenue has been temporarily closed to ensure public safety following a building collapse.

The closure is expected to remain in effect until further notice. Motorists are advised to avoid the area until clearance is granted by the authorities.
