On April 18, 2024, at 4:48 a.m., a Norfolk Police officer conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Glennwood Boulevard.  The driver was identified as Dino A. Alai, 30, of Norfolk. A check of his license showed that it was currently revoked.  He was taken into custody.  In a search of his vehicle officers recovered a glass pipe that tested positive for methamphetamine.  Alai was arrested for driving during revocation and possession of a controlled substance.   He was housed in the Norfolk City jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail
