December 15th Press Release 2023

On December 14, 2023, at 1:28 p.m., Norfolk Police and Norfolk Rescue were called to the 700 block of South 7th Street for a vehicle that had left the roadway, and that the driver may be having a seizure.  First responders found the car next to the railroad tracks and the driver appeared unconscious.  Responding officers recognized the driver as Brayden F. Wolff, 26, of Norfolk. Wolff was wearing a black bag with straps around his chest. One of the rescue personnel removed this bag from his chest and handed it to an officer. The bag was unzipped and the officer could see a clear bag which contained methamphetamine. Also inside the bag was a black digital scale with residue.  A clear glass pipe was seen and recovered from the passenger seat.  Cash and marijuana were also recovered.  Wolff was transported to Faith Regional Hospital and medically cleared from their care. He was questioned about the incident and then arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.  He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
