February 11, 2021 Press Release

On February 11, at approximately 10:14p.m., Norfolk Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Blaine St. on a call of a suspicious vehicle.  I was also report that there was loud music coming from the vehicle.  The responding officers had contact with the occupant of the vehicle Angela R. Flores, 43, of Norfolk.  During the contact with Flores, several small plastic baggies were located on the passenger seat.  Two of the baggies contained a substance that was believed to be methamphetamine.  The substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine.  Flores was arrested and booked into the Norfolk PD jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Flores was later transported to the Madison County Jail.

On February 11, at approximately 10:49a.m., Norfolk Police were dispatched to a report of a male subject that was found Passed out inside a building in the 1300 block of Center Dr.  When officers arrived they located the male subject.  They woke the subject and identified him as Joshua M. Lyons, 27, of Norfolk.  During further investigation, the officers discovered that Lyons had received a trespass warning after being found passed out in the same location on December 14, 2020.  After the officers discovered the previous warning, Lyons was arrested for Trespassing.  Lyons was booked in the Norfolk PD jail and was later transported to the Madison County jail.
