On February 28, 2024, at 1:02 p.m., Norfolk Police responded to a trespassing report at a residence in the 100 block of West Walnut Avenue.  When the officers arrived, they were informed that Sheila F. Omera, 64, homeless, was refusing to leave the residence.  Officers had contact with Omera and arrested her for second-degree trespassing.  In a subsequent search, officers recovered a glass pipe and methamphetamine from her purse.  She was then also arrested for possession of a controlled substance.  She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
