On January 1, 2022 at 1:54 a.m., Norfolk Police were called to an apartment in the 900 block of Woodhurst Avenue for a disturbance.  When officers arrived, they had contact with Sherina R. Good Voice Elk, 26, of Norfolk and an adult male.  In speaking with the two of them, officers learned that there had been a verbal argument the escalated to Good Voice Elk hitting the male victim with a wooden chair several times.  The victim had several scratches along with redness and swelling on several parts of his upper body.  He also believed that his arm was possibly broken.  Good Voice Elk was arrested for second degree domestic assault.  She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail 

On December 30, 2021 at 3:25 p.m., Norfolk Police officers were called to the 300 block of Madison Avenue for a possible disturbance. When officers arrived, they had contact with two males.  One of the males was identified as Joe L. Nash Jr., 25, homeless.  A check of his license showed an active Madison County arrest warrant.  He was taken into custody.  In a subsequent search, officers located a small amount of methamphetamine in his coat pocket.  He was then also arrested for possession of a controlled substance.  He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail
