On January 4, 2023 at 10:45 a.m., Norfolk Police responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of E. Phillip Avenue. Officers had contact with an adult male who stated that he was just assaulted by Christian G. Santana, 39, of Norfolk.  The victim stated that he and Santana had been in an argument inside their apartment and he decided to leave.  Santana followed him outside where Santana pulled his hair and bit him on the wrist while taking his cell phone.  The victim had a visible bite mark on his wrist.  Officers had contact with Santana and placed him under arrest for third-degree domestic assault.  He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
