July 6 Press Release

On July 5th, 2020 at 1853hrs officers were dispatched to the area of 7"' and Pasewalk Ave. in reference
to a pickup that was seen being driven recklessly. While officers were enroute to check for the reckless
driver, a call of an accident was dispatched. The accident was a pickup that had crashed into a tree in
the 400 block of S. 2"'' St. The pickup was the suspect vehicle in the reckless driving call. When
officers arrived at the scene of the accident, they located the pickup and the driver sitting on the ground
next to the pickup. Officers contacted the driver, who was identified as Dillon L. White, 27 of Pierce
Ne. White showed signs of being intoxicated and showed impairment on field sobriety maneuvers.
White was arrested and transported to the Norfolk PD jail. White submitted a breath sample. Whites
blood alcohol content was .215. White was booked into jail for a felony DUl 3'"'^ offense +.150. White
was housed in the Norfolk PD jail and later transported to the Madison County Jail.


On July 2"^^. 2020 at 1835hrs. officers were dispatched to 1509 Ponca Hills Drive on a complaint of a
disturbance. The reporting party advised that Janine T. Moore. 56 of Norfolk was causing a disturbance.
The reporting party advised that Moore had been at the reporting parties residence multiple limes during
the day knocking on the door and windows. Moore was hitting the windows so hard that the victim
believed that it was going to break. Officers located Moore and she admitted to being at the victims
residence and believed that the victim had her phone. Moore appeared to be under the influence of
alcohol. Moore was warned that if she returned to the residence, she would be cited for disturbing the
peace. At 1925hrs. officers were called back after Moore relumed to the residence and was knocking on
the door and windows again. Moore was contacted and again admitted to going back to the victim
residence because she believed her phone was there. Officers help Moore find her phone, which was
located in Moore's own apartment. Moore was issued a citation for disturbing the peace and wamed not
the return to the victims residence and that she would be arrested if she did. At 2101 hrs. officers were
dispatched again as Moore had returned to the victims residence again. Moore was located by officers at
her apartment and refused to come out. Officers stayed in the area. At 2147hrs Moore was obser\'ed
exit her apanment and was walking toward the victims residence again. The officers observed Moore
knocking on the door and yelling. Officers had contact with Moore and placed her under arrest for
disturbing the peace. Moore was issued three citations for disturbing the peace and was booked in to the
Norfolk PD jail for disturbing the peace. Moore was later transported to Madison County Jail.
