On June 21, 2023, at 3:28 p.m., Norfolk Police were called to a physical disturbance between a male at female that was occurring near 3rd Street and Braasch Avenue.  Officers had contact with Jordan T. McIntosh, 34, of Norfolk and a female.  The female stated that she and McIntosh were arguing over relationship issues and that he struck her.  She had a cut on the inside of her lip from the assault.  A witness had video recorded the altercation and provided it to the officer.  The video shows McIntosh striking her several times.  McIntosh was taken into custody.  During a subsequent search, officers recovered a small amount of methamphetamine and a Clonazepam medication pill.  McIntosh was arrested for third-degree domestic assault and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.  He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
