On June 5, 2020, the Norfolk Police Division received a complaint about a felon who was in possession of a firearm. The anonymous complaint stated that John B. Costello, 61, of Norfolk, was in possession of firearms. Officers had contact with Costello at his residence and recovered a .45 caliber handgun and a .223 rifle. Protection Order Violation, Resisting Arrest, Assault on an Officer
On 6-4-2020 at approximately 11:00 a.m. Norfolk Police were called to a disturbance in
the 1400 block of Elm Avenue. The victim had a harassment protection order against 38
year old Crystal Eberhardt of Norfolk. Eberhardt was disturbing the peace of the victim
and neighbors but left before officers arrived.
