South Water Main Loop

Project Description:

The South Water Main Loop project began at the existing 12 inch water main located at the intersection of Highway 81 and Ta-Ha-Zouka Drive. From there, it runs south across the Elkhorn River, east across the north side of Medelmans Lake Subdivision to First Street, and north along First Street crossing the Elkhorn River and connecting to the city's existing water system. 

Project Schedule: 

• The Request for Proposals was sent in March 2018
• The bid tabulation was available on April 5, 2018
• The contract was awarded to Rutjens Construction, Inc. on April 6, 2018
• Construction began in July 2018
• Construction was completed in September 2018
