Street Repairs 25th & Benjamin

Beginning Monday, July 19, 2021 the intersection/roundabout of Benjamin Avenue and 25th Street will be closed for pavement restoration, which will involve complete replacement of existing surfacing.

This closure will last between 14 - 21 days, depending on weather and concrete stability.  Our goal is to have this project completed before our students return to school.

Pasewalk Avenue Closure

Beginning Tuesday, July 6, street repairs will begin on the eastbound traffic lane of W. Pasewalk Avenue from the northeast corner of the Hwy 275 intersection to the edge of Big Red Keno's entrance. This section will be closed to traffic traveling northeast on W. Pasewalk. Drivers can use S. 20th Street or S. 25th Street as an alternate route.

Pavement Markings 2021

Due to installation of pedestrian crosswalk markings, the eastbound traffic lane on Pasewalk Avenue from US 275 to the entrance of Bid Red Sports Bar/Madison County Bank will be closed on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.  Driveways to adjacent businesses along Pasewalk Avenue will remain open during the road closure.  The road closure is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am and will last approximately 1 hour.

Update 37th Street Closure to Begin Monday, June 14

A portion of 37th Street will be closed beginning Monday, June 14, 2021. The closure is for the installation of storm sewer associated with the 37th Street Drainage Improvement project. Westbound Lanes on Norfolk Ave from 2nd-3rd St. to Close for One Day

Due to the installation of water and sewer service lines, westbound traffic on Norfolk Avenue from 2nd Street to 3rd Street will be closed all day on May 4, 2020. Concrete paving will replace the removed street section after underground services are installed.

Elm Avenue Bridge Closure to Begin Tuesday, April 28
